Sustainable TPEs from Avient Featured at SPE TPO Conference

CLEVELAND – September 28, 2022 – Avient Corporation today announced it will showcase several sustainable solutions for the automotive industry at the upcoming SPE TPO Global Automotive Engineered Polyolefins Conference. This includes technologies for lightweighting, colorants for secondary paint replacement, and bio-polymers. The conference is October 2-5 in Troy, Michigan.

During the conference, Christopher Engel, advanced research & development engineer at Avient, will be giving a presentation on exploring bio-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) in automotive applications. Made from renewable sources, materials like reSound™ BIO formulations help reduce carbon footprint and can perform like traditional TPEs. The presentation will take place on Monday, October 3rd at 2:50 PM.

Experts from Avient will be on hand at booth #24 throughout the conference to help customers better understand novel sustainable performance materials, including specialized polymer colorants, functional additives, and engineered material formulations.
