FireCon™ CPE Insulation Jacketing Formulations
FireCon™ chlorinated polyethylene formulations are flame-retardant jacketing materials designed for use in low-voltage power-and-control cables which are routinely exposed to harsh chemicals and low temperatures. These filled, flexible thermoplastic blends are a robust cable jacketing solution for applications in which ignition and flame resistance are crucial, such as industrial, building and construction, and nuclear markets.
Offering an excellent physical and electrical performance, FireCon retains flexibility at temperatures below 0°C and is available in UV resistant grades, and grades to meet various UL standards, including UL 1581 FT4.
